How it works
1. Choose a "Design Plan" and Price Level
Here you let us know how much your project entails by choosing how many "elements" you would like us to assist in design for a single room. This can include an adjoining room such as Kitchen/Dining or Living Room/Dining.
Price Level:
Up to 3 elements = $400.00
4-7 elements = $650
8+ elements = $900
Cabinet Design and Layout = $450.00
These "elements" include:
Paint selections & color scheme design
Furniture and Fabric selections
Window Treatments
Floor Covering selections
Cabinets and Cabinet Hardware (color, style, etc)
if overall cabinet design and layout is needed please allow for the additional $450.00. This will be made as a separate transaction in the “cart”.
Fixtures (faucets, sinks, etc)
Accessories and Decor
Lighting
Appliances
2. Fill out a detailed Questionnaire
At time of payment a questionnaire will be presented for you to fill out. This allows us to get to know not only your project but a little about you and your household. This is a very helpful step in the process.
You will also be asked to provide photos of the room, preferably all four walls. Rough measurements are also very helpful if they can be given. Any additional pieces of information or photos of important items should be given at this time as well.
3. DNL Homes starts working on your design
Once payment has been received and accepted we will start working on your design. Within one week we will provide a design board & layout. This will be emailed to you as we would like your quick respond with some feedback. This lets us know if we're moving in the right direction. You are allowed ONE FREE adjustment at this time. Tell us what you like and don’t like about what we’ve designed so far and make the changes for your DoorStep Design.
4. The DNL DoorStep Design is delivered to your Doorstep.
Within 45 days (shipping factors may apply) you will receive the DNL Doorstep Design at your doorstep. This will include: a design layout, any drawing necessary to portray the design (hand-drawn or computer generated), a selection and shopping list, and all necessary samples collected during the process.
